ENTRY FEES
$50 per team registration

$10 per player if not attached to a team. If individuals sign up without a team then they will go into a pool and be joined to a team.
Limit of 20 spots for indivduals in need of a team.

REGISTRATION CATEGORIES 
5 people team, 4 players and one goalie. All ages welcome.

GENERAL INFORMATION
These games are meant to be fun and competitive. Floor hockey is played with sneakers and a stick and official street hockey ball. No other equipment is required. This is a no contact tournament. Competition will follow NHL Floor Hockey rules. 2 forward players and 2 defenders and one goalie. As of now, games will be (2) 10min periods. Referee for each game is one player from a team that is playing next game. Game will be played with side boards/walls in an ice hockey format. Tournament will take approximately 5-6 hours to complete.  

Hockey Sticks are provided for those who don't have a stick. 


FORMAT: Double elimination format, each team guaranteed at least two games. All games for tournament will be played on one day.

RULES:  NHL Floor Hockey rules. Waiver signed and required before playing. If a team is missing a player, then they will play with the number available. No substitutions. https://nhlstreet.com/resources/street-hockey-rules-explained/
Rule infractions result in free shot, as described in hockey rules.

MERCHANDISE
2024 Virginia Commonwealth Games merchandise will be available for purchase during events at various locations and online.

AWARDS
2024 Virginia Commonwealth Games bronze, silver and gold medals will be given in each category/division. 1st place team gets team name on Commonwealth cup. Cup will be used year to year.
