It is Virginia Amateur Sports policy that no refunds will be awarded because an athlete or team fails to participate as their choice. It is also VAS policy that refunds will not be awarded after event registration has closed or competition schedules have been made, barring extenuating circumstances.
You may purchase travel/trip insurance to help protect your registration fee, hotel, etc if wish. We partner with Tripmate for your protection options, learn more or purchase here.
If an event is not held, then those registered will receive a full refund, ONLY if the event is NOT held due to cancellation or things outside of our control).
If you were to choose to donate your registration fee, in lieu of a refund, you would receive a tax receipt as Virginia Amateur Sports in is 501(c)3 Non-Profit. Thank you for supporting Virginia Amateur Sports and our 34 years of service to the Commonwealth of Virginia!
