The Wall of Honor concept was generated by the VAS Board of Directors as they wanted to recognize the commitment, time, expertise and dedication of volunteers, corporations and organizations that enhanced the development of our program in reaching new milestones since the inception of VAS in 1989 and the inaugural year of the Games in 1990. We were able to recognize and introduce our first class of honorees at our VIP reception during the 20th Anniversary of the Coventry Commonwealth Games of Virginia. Each honoree was selected by their outstanding service and unselfish contributions for the advancement and betterment of Virginia Amateur Sports.
